Gambling is illegal in Japan but Pachinko is not. You might have allready seen pictures of noisy pachinko halls on tv but there is nothing like experiencing it in Japan. You don’t gamble for money but for prices which are electronics, cigarettes and something that you can trade back into money outside the pachinko hall. That’s the loophole in the system.
